Bottle of Justus
HOLY CRAP! Boiler Gold Rush (orientation) is officially over (ended Wednesday technically). We got to see two more good comedians, one guy was rude and crude as hell, but funny, the other guy just made fun of life in general, and had the best impression of Donald duck having sex, ever. Well Thursday was eventful, not, at least until I went and saw BOJ. Bottle of Justus is a reall, REALLY, good band. They are original music, so you won't see 'em on MTV until MTV buys their souls while they aren't looking. They are really good, and I would have to say hanging out and listening was the best idea I have had in awhile. They performed Thursday from like 9 o'clock to 10, after two pretty bad bands that I went into the lobby and leered at women with my dormmates during their performance. BOJ came on and I realized, "Holy hell these guys are good." So I of course went in and listened. Today I was wasting away my life by being lazy as hell, and it ends up my across the hall buddy walks in to my room and says, "Hey there is this frat party going on with live music." I shrugged and agreed to go, it turns out one of the guys from Bottle of Justus knew some of the frat members and agreed to play at the party. Needless to say people were there, including hot chicks running through a sprinkler in swim suits, say it with me kids, "SWEET!"

Moral of the story, buy Bottle of Justus' Cd's, they are worth every penny, seriously. Also if you ever get the chance to hear them play, stick around and thank them for playing, they are quite badass after all.

As an aside my roomate moved in today. He woke me up at like 8 AM and walked in with a girl who I thought was his sister. Turns out he is 23 and that was his fiance... Yeah I need to find a placed to crash when she comes up for a weekend... He might buy me alchohol though, which my next door neighbors say is freakin' awesome.

Ohoho for liquor! Get some dark Rum!
I'm sure you'll make some good friends who you can stay with as a favour to the guy occassionally--just make sure not to let him make you feel uncomfy in your own room!
You also need to ride on the Boilermaker train sometime...it's amusing! And play in the fountain! They put a boundary around the actual fountain bit cause some stupid woman let her like 3 year old play un-attended and he got launched into the air by it and broke his arm (lil' bastard), but you can still slide down the metal things surrounding it! And there's also this circle thing near the theatre where if you stand in the very center your voice is projected. Whee. Yay Purdue! I'm glad you're getting up to mischief Russian boy

So true, so true. I have been in both fountains, and they are fun as hell. The train I haven't tried yet, but we did get yelled at for scaling the massive main Engineering fountain. We climbed one of the four cardinal spikes, and by we I mean my friends Willie and I. It was badass, until we got threatened with suspensions. The circle thingies are "squeaking circles" they are named as such becaused if you clap, right before the echo you hear a squeak. If anyone *cough* Malik *cough* comes up to visit I will show 'em off (Go Purdue Engineering!). 'Tis quite true that I am up to no good and getting in to trouble already, after all how much would college be without laughing at drunk people and watching others slowly get drunk. (as a small aside, I don't intend to drink at all if I can avoid it.)
